Banjo Brothers 01070 Rack Top Pannier Bag could fit the kitchen sink, though it would probably be too heavy, but with the expanding design, you could use it for a trip around town, or a credit card tour out of town. It's trim design is perfect when you just need to throw in a picnic or an extra jacket, but with drop-down panniers and expanding top, it has surprising capacity expanding from 900 to 1300 cubic inches all together. The thick padding insulates any food you are carrying and supports any valuable contents while out on the trail. The pannier is made with heavy-duty ballistic fabric in high-wear areas, and has 360 degrees of reflective accents to keep you seen and safe while riding. The pannier fits most rear-mount racks, has a web loop for a light and comes with a shoulder strap, a coin pocket and an interior key clip to keep your keys from accidentally dropping or getting lost.

I did my research before purchasing a rear rack bag for my bike. I read about all kinds of bags and pannier sets, and read lots of customer reviews - and i mean lots. I have just recently gotten into biking since buying a quality hybrid and wanting to go on longer biking excursions. But I am basically a casual weekend rider wanting to be able to carry id, cell ph, food/bev, emergency bike tools, clothing, camera, etc. I am extremely pleased with my Banjo Brothers Rack Top Pannier Bag. My bike rack is set very close to my bike saddle and so I was concerned the bag might be in the way when I am sitting on my bike - but it is fine. I should note that I am quite petite at about 5' 2". I have no problems bumping or rubbing up against the bag at any point. I have used it at least a handful of times now. The panniers are so easy to set up - takes just a few seconds. I am not familiar with other bike racks - mine has a hook shaped piece set low on each side down by the middle of the wheels, i think, and that is what I latch each metal pannier loop to for securing. It is just designed very very well - as the Banjo Brothers website states - they are very particular. And I would have to agree. There is a loop on the back end where I clipped on my red light for rides around dusk. There are heavy duty velcro straps to attach the bag to the rack and it seems to do fine. There is no chance of this falling off if attached correctly. All the materials, straps, and zippers seem to be sturdy and very good quality. Oh, one problem I read with other bags was the panniers falling into the spokes - which I was concerned about especially after seeing a different company's bag at a store. This bag's material is very thick and stiff - I really can't see that happening here. I really cannot think of any negatives about this bag. My friends and I biked 53 miles one Saturday and they were very thankful I had a bag to carry stuff. Oh, as well, it looks pretty sleek, too. I could not be happier about this bag.
